Designer Profile | Julian Kyhl

Julian Kyhl is an independent designer working out of Copenhagen, Denmark. An educated carpenter, Julian is currently studying Design and Innovation at the Danish Technical University.

He strives to design beautiful, intuitive and functional objects that will last a lifetime or more. Through his work with wood, Julian has developed an interest in sustainable design and materials. Julian’s Timber Table received a lot of positive feedback, and resulted in an invitation to the Zona Tortona sustainability exhibition during the 2010 Milan Design Week, and subsequently the London Design Festival.

In 2010 he also received the “best upcoming designer award” by renowned Danish interiors magazine Boligmagasinet. Julian’s Timber Table is now available for preorder in ideacious.
